Roots as Artwork
Each piece starts with roots chosen for their curves, knots and grain. Arranged so they appear to flow freely across the wall, the forms suggest growth and connection. Light from a window or a nearby lamp catches the ridges and throws soft shadows that move through the day.
Craft and Installation
The surface is lightly refined so it stays smooth to the touch while keeping a raw, earthy look. Because the material is natural, shape, grain and color vary and every sculpture is unique. The work arrives in sections that lock together with fitted joints, and a video guide walks you through setup.
Frequently asked questions
Where does a sculpture this size look best?
The 80 inch length fills a sofa wall or stair landing, while 51 inches suits an entry, hallway or bedroom wall.
Is it difficult to assemble?
The sections are designed to fit together with mortise and tenon joints, and an assembly video is supplied so you can complete the setup yourself.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.
