How It Is Made
Artisans shape the bench by hand from solid wood, then divide it into detachable parts that reconnect with fitted mortise and tenon joints. Once assembled, the frame is firm and steady. Natural wood varies in grain and tone, so small differences from the photos are part of its charm.
Choosing a Size
Measure the wall where it will sit and leave a little clearance at each end. The 42- and 48-inch versions fit most entries, while 54 and 60 inches work for mudrooms and families with plenty of shoes.

Is assembly difficult?
Parts are numbered and join with mortise and tenon connections. A detailed video guide is sent after delivery to help you set it up.
Can I use it outside the entryway?
Yes. It also works at the foot of a bed, in a mudroom or along a hallway wall.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.

Orders leave in 1–2 business days. Delivery normally takes another 3–7 business days, with a tracking link emailed to you. Full details in our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn, unwashed item with tags attached. Change-of-mind returns are at your postage; damaged, wrong or lost orders are replaced or refunded in full and we cover the postage. No restocking fees.

Hang suits and sport coats on a wide wooden hanger and let them rest a day between wears. Brush, don't wash; dry clean only when actually dirty — two or three times a year is plenty. Steam out creases. Hems, sleeves and waists are done in our shop at 6 N Centre St; add your inseam in the order notes and we'll hem trousers before they ship. Hemmed trousers are altered to your order, so they can't be returned for change of mind or wrong size.
