Inspired by Old Wood
Vaelthorn draws on weathered roots and ancient timber. The base weaves through itself, leaving gaps that make the piece feel lighter than its material suggests. Above, the edge of the top follows a natural line rather than a straight cut, adding softness to a hallway or living room.
Finish and Styling
Skilled carvers shape each table from premium hardwood, then sand it and apply a durable protective coat. Grain and tone vary piece to piece. Pair it with floating shelves, a round mirror or nature-themed art, and top it with ceramics, a lamp or a few favorite books.

Can it go behind a sofa?
Yes. At 30 inches high and 14 to 16 inches deep, it works well behind a sofa as well as in entryways.
Is the top a true live edge?
The tabletop has a natural-edge silhouette that is smoothed and finished, giving an organic outline with a refined feel.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.

Free on U.S. orders of $60 or more; $5.95 flat under. We ship within the United States only.
Orders leave in 1–2 business days. Delivery normally takes another 3–7 business days, with a tracking link emailed to you. Full details in our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn, unwashed item with tags attached. Change-of-mind returns are at your postage; damaged, wrong or lost orders are replaced or refunded in full and we cover the postage. No restocking fees.

Hang suits and sport coats on a wide wooden hanger and let them rest a day between wears. Brush, don't wash; dry clean only when actually dirty — two or three times a year is plenty. Steam out creases. Hems, sleeves and waists are done in our shop at 6 N Centre St; add your inseam in the order notes and we'll hem trousers before they ship. Hemmed trousers are altered to your order, so they can't be returned for change of mind or wrong size.
