Design
A shoe bench solves two everyday problems at once: somewhere to sit and somewhere to put footwear. The live edges keep the outline of the timber, so the bench feels warm and natural instead of utilitarian. Its slim depth means it fits even narrow hallways and mudrooms.
Handmade quality
Each bench is made entirely by hand from rustic solid wood. Custom sizes, colors and details are available on request. Natural wood varies in grain and tone, so expect slight differences from the photos. Numbered parts and clear instructions keep assembly simple.
Placement and care
Place it by the front door, in a mudroom or at the foot of a bed. Add a row of wall hooks above it and the bench becomes a complete drop zone for coats, bags and shoes. Wipe up wet shoes and snow quickly, and clean the seat with a soft dry cloth.

Which width should I choose?
The 32-inch bench seats one adult comfortably in a small entry. Choose 48 to 60 inches if you want room for two people and more pairs of shoes.
Can I request a different color?
Yes. The workshop can adjust the paint color, dimensions and design details when you place your order.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.

Free on U.S. orders of $60 or more; $5.95 flat under. We ship within the United States only.
Orders leave in 1–2 business days. Delivery normally takes another 3–7 business days, with a tracking link emailed to you. Full details in our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn, unwashed item with tags attached. Change-of-mind returns are at your postage; damaged, wrong or lost orders are replaced or refunded in full and we cover the postage. No restocking fees.

Hang suits and sport coats on a wide wooden hanger and let them rest a day between wears. Brush, don't wash; dry clean only when actually dirty — two or three times a year is plenty. Steam out creases. Hems, sleeves and waists are done in our shop at 6 N Centre St; add your inseam in the order notes and we'll hem trousers before they ship. Hemmed trousers are altered to your order, so they can't be returned for change of mind or wrong size.
