All wood, all comfort
Without upholstery to hide behind, the chair relies on shape. The seat is carved to support a relaxed posture, and the frame curves smoothly around it. From any angle, the grounded silhouette and handcrafted details give the room a quiet artistic note.
Craftsmanship
Joined solid wood blocks are carved, sanded and finished with a protective oil that deepens natural color variation. Since every chair is handcrafted to order, grain, texture and tone will be unique. It ships in sections and is assembled at home. Dust it with a soft cloth and keep it away from direct heat sources so the wood stays stable.

Do I need to add a cushion?
No. The seat is carved to be comfortable as is, though you may add a throw or pillow if you prefer a softer feel.
Is it suitable for daily use?
Yes. The solid wood construction is designed for everyday and long-term use in living rooms, bedrooms and reading nooks.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order. Cutting and carving take 7-10 days, you approve photos of your piece, finishing takes about 7 more days, and delivery adds 3-7 business days, so most orders arrive in about 3-4 weeks.
Will every piece look exactly like the photos?
The shape, size and finish match your selection, but solid wood has natural variations in grain, knots and tone, so no two pieces are identical. You see photos of your own piece before it is finished.

Free on U.S. orders of $60 or more; $5.95 flat under. We ship within the United States only.
Orders leave in 1–2 business days. Delivery normally takes another 3–7 business days, with a tracking link emailed to you. Full details in our Shipping Policy.
You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn, unwashed item with tags attached. Change-of-mind returns are at your postage; damaged, wrong or lost orders are replaced or refunded in full and we cover the postage. No restocking fees.

Hang suits and sport coats on a wide wooden hanger and let them rest a day between wears. Brush, don't wash; dry clean only when actually dirty — two or three times a year is plenty. Steam out creases. Hems, sleeves and waists are done in our shop at 6 N Centre St; add your inseam in the order notes and we'll hem trousers before they ship. Hemmed trousers are altered to your order, so they can't be returned for change of mind or wrong size.
