This black shawl lapel tuxedo is a slim fit wool tuxedo for grooms, groomsmen, prom and black-tie galas, made to own rather than borrow. The rounded shawl collar is the classic dinner-jacket look, and sizes run 36S–48S, 36R–54R and 40L–54L.
Black tie calls for a plain white shirt, a black bow tie, a cummerbund or waistcoat and no belt. Finish with polished black shoes. The slim cut has a higher armhole, narrower lapel and tapered leg, so it looks clean in photos.

Size & Fit
Sizing is chest plus length, so a 40S is a 40-inch chest for a man under 5'8", R covers 5'8" to 6' and L is for over 6'. Between sizes, choose the larger chest.
The tuxedo trousers carry a 6" drop (42 jacket, 36" waist) and an unfinished hem, hemmed free before shipping if you add your inseam to the order notes.

Care
Brush the wool after each wear and let it rest a day on a wide wooden hanger. Steam out creases rather than ironing, and keep dry cleaning to 2–3 times a year, only when it needs it.

Order your chest measurement, then the length by height: S short (under 5'8"), R regular (5'8"–6'), L long (over 6'). Trousers ship with the standard 6" drop (a 42R jacket comes with 36" waist trousers) and an unfinished hem.

You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn, unwashed item with tags attached. Change-of-mind returns are at your postage; damaged, wrong or lost orders are replaced or refunded in full and we cover the postage. No restocking fees.

Hang suits and sport coats on a wide wooden hanger and let them rest a day between wears. Brush, don't wash; dry clean only when actually dirty — two or three times a year is plenty. Steam out creases. Hems, sleeves and waists are done in our shop at 6 N Centre St; add your inseam in the order notes and we'll hem trousers before they ship. Hemmed trousers are altered to your order, so they can't be returned for change of mind or wrong size.
